Union is a sneaker store in Los Angeles and in November 2018 they released a Jordan collab featuring two colorways of Jordan 1's and a bunch of apparel. I loved the black toe Jordan 1's that they released but I was unable to get them and now they resell for over $1000. This is what they look like:
Jordan has been releasing a ton of good generic colorways of Jordan 1 lows recently so I decided to take a pair of black toe lows and put the Union spin on them.
I painted the collar and liner grey, the midsole vanilla, the laces tan, the tongue white, and the edges yellow. I also cut off the edge of the tongue and hand stitched in the blue thread. The black and red were already on the shoe.
