I painted these Paul George 3's in the summer of 2019 for incoming Notre Dame Women's basketball star, Sam Brunelle. Sam and I are originally from the same area in Charlottesville, Virginia, so that's how we got connected. For this shoe, Sam wanted to incorporate both her high school, the William Monroe Dragons, and her university, Notre Dame. Both schools use the colors green and gold so it worked out perfectly to combine them onto one pair of shoes.
